Another DISCO3/Freel2/RRSPORT Off road Day - Nov 9th

Following many requests after the last successful event, November 9th has been chosen for the next off-road day at Tong nr. Bradford We will have full exclusive use of the site from 10.00 - 16.00

For those that have been before you will know what a great off-road site it is, for those that haven't got the wheels muddy there before, the site is massive and varied, routes are graded Blue (easy) Red (moderate) and Black (Difficult) so plenty for everyone. There has been a slight increase in cost to ensure Martin/Freel2 are rewarded for the work that goes into this forum!

Tuition will be available for novices or improver's too.

Come and have fun and put names to faces etc

(Full details inc payment options and instructions etc will be sent nearer the time)

We need 25 between here, Disco 3 and RR-Sport to make this event viable folks.

Parkwood is a perfect proving ground for the Freelander 2, non-damaging and great fun. If you have never taken yours off road please please come along, you won't regret it and will be in safe hands Thumbs Up

Thanks Lee.

Looks as though we won't have enough to run the Tuition group in full anyhow. There will be marshals running the event though so you will all be in safe hands Thumbs Up

I wish i could, but out of the country Big Cry

As CFB says its a great proving ground for the FL2, and I'm sure if your not sure of anything somebody will give you the advice, or speak to the marshals.

Anybody else thinking of going? Avtur, AlexG, CG Question Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I can't go, there will be vaners there and I will catch an instant case of death followed by a burial at sea in one of the muddy lakes Confused
Shame its not this week as I have a defender courtesy car while my pickup is in for some careless reversing repairs Rolling Eyes (You should see the fiesta I hit) . I'm sure there are some unexplored areas at Tong to test a courtesy Defender to its limits Exclamation But I do have to say driving a defender again reminds me of the reasons I don't own one anymore Laughing

Have fun though  At work
