On five occasions all four windows of my Freelander 2 have opened without command at some point after locking. The vehicle is eight months old and of course the local dealership has no idea other than to say "there is no fault code, we can't help".

Tell them to investigate it and stop just looking at fault codes and be proper mechanics

If they can't find a fault code, Insist that they do a full software re-install with the latest versions, you obviously have some sort of gremlin

Another avenue is that there is a faulty keyfob, which a quick read of the other thread seems to be the answer.
