Yes, it is a great trick on a hot summer day. I used it frequently last summer and probably will again this summer.

Range is definitely over 50M and really made a few people stop and stare. What a shame it does not open the sunroof. Regards Ub2

Oh to have some sun to use this feature , Saying that I've had it on VW's and Audis for several years but rarely used it.
Years ago I drove to the south of France in an Astra and the steering wheel lock used to get so hot in the sun that it had to be wrapped in a towel to avoid burning your hands. Sadly the Astra had no AC, I think I lost a stone on that holiday driving down the peages in 33+c heat with all the windows open. Sun burnt on the arm nearest the window only  At work

I love this feature Where I stay the summer temperature is 38C on ave and on real hot days it can go up to 42C.

If you get bored you can sit somewhere remotely and activate the 'personal alarm' which starts the horn sounding and then have your windows go up and down , wing mirrors flapping in and out all at the same time.... then see the look on the pedestrians faces .... don't do it too much though otherwise you'll have no battery left

The book explained it all, and now sorted, you have to release the switch and then hold it for 2 secs.

Since I had the rear passenger door replaced I can't get the "one touch" function to work on it when closing it. It's ok going down but not coming up , tried following the manual but no joy  ______________________

The all-open and all-close featurre only works on the windows that have been set up for one-touch opening and closing.

You can do this on each window that you want to be (a) one-touch and (b) all-open by pressing the window down button down for two seconds after the window is fully down and up for two seconds afte the window is up.
