Ask Dan at Duckworths (Forum sponsor) I'm pretty sure it's sold separately and you don't need a new headlight unit. |

Mine looked a bit like that after I stuck some plastic masks on when travelling in mainland Europe. It looks as though it has had some sort of solvent on it - either a plastic cover stuck on and then removed, or maybe cleaned with the wrong fluid? Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

It's very common caused by chemicals and or strong sunlight and ageing, you can get kits that claim to make them good again but I've never used one,if the seller says they weren't there when he posted them I simply don't believe that. |

If you are stuck with them - try polishing the marks out - use Brasso or similar with a clean cloth and try a small area first to see if it is working. Do a small area at a time - it is a tiem consuming but worthwhile exercise but no use if the marks are deep cracks.

Looks like the plastic is degrading due to age and UV light, they basically need renewing, the cracks only keep coming back whatever you do.
