Can anybody help
I was sat in the Freelander listening to the radio and it did its usual, of after a time switching off, so I turned it back on and continued to listen, then the volume suddenly went quite loud and when I looked at the radio display, where the "FM1" is shown it had "Alarm", by the time I had registered what it said, the volume had reduced back and the display went back to "FM1".

I think it's when battery gets to a certain voltage just start engine and carry on listening.

i had similar, and other also have posted to say the same

they thought was it was traffic announcements, which comes on louder as you need to hear them

Yes it sound like the TA announcement which was not turned on but sound very much like what happened to others.

Why would it say alarm ?
