Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

Decades ago we had to have fire training for the office staff. The fire brigade lit a 44 gallon drum cut open lengthways with a very small amount of oil burning in the bottom.

They first showed us how to put it out, and it was out in half a second. About four of us got a go before the extinguisher ran out. We all made the same mistake by pointing the extinguisher too high at the flames rather than the source.

Once we overcome our hesitation and pointed it correctly we each managed to put the fire out in about 2 to 5 seconds.

I think everyone should actually have a go in a safe and controlled manner with a fire extinguisher so you know what to expect, so you don't hesitate and or not point it at other than the source of the fire.

We used a BCF, is was before we were aware of ozone holes. From memory about 5 kg of the ozone depleting stuff! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

I went to santa pod last weekend on a stag do (camping dont ask Evil or Very Mad ) the drivers of the racers have plumbed in oxygen supplies to avoid breathing flames and much better flame suits than f1 drivers, but they are sat next to a fire breathing monster.
The top fuel racers weren't even there just the slow 5seconds/ 1/4 mile guys At work
