The S has exactly the same hardware as the TR-equipped versions, all it lacks are the special program modes in the software. It's effectively driving around in 'normal' mode all the time, so you still get control of wheelspin (just not as tightly as the special programs), 4wd at lower speeds, etc. The main drawback of normal mode off road would seem to be the fact that if you turn the wheels away from the straight ahead you end up in 2wd, which could make manoeuvres such as climbing up out of ruts tricky. Other than that, though, it is as you say pretty much as capable as the TR models. |

don't you know what 'spec' FL2 you bought? Surely you must or the dealer could have sold it at HSE prices |

No, i did not know what spec it was. It was sold to me as a TD4.e. Which is what it says on the rear hatch.

If you don't have the terrain response dial, steering wheel controls for cruise and sound system, or front fog lights then your FL2 is based on the 'S' spec model, with bits added.
