Scotland 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red
[For Sale] Set of 4 GS wheels with GoodYear ATSA (sold)

Set of 4 GS wheels with GoodYear ATSA tyres for sale.

I've recently sold my Freelander and I used these wheels for winter as I used to commute along Royal Deeside where the snow can get deep!

The alloys are in good condition with no dents, scratches etc, however there are some dark spots on the inside of them. The tyres have around 3-4mm left of the tread.

Looking for around £300 for the set and would prefer pick up, or meet within reasonable distance.

Depending on mileage the tyres should last another couple of winters, assuming they are removed for summer.

Thanks,
Craig

Sorry for my ignorance but are those tyres proper winter ones? I am soon to need a full set of alloys and winter tyres for my GS. Are they 17"? I am in Stirlingshire. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Also, at that tread depth, are they still going to function properly in terms of winter conditions? (I know sfa about winter tyres). FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

They are M&S (Mud and Snow) but are not classed as proper winter tyres. I used them as the snow could be 300mm + some mornings when driving to work and before the roads were cleared so more aggressive 4x4 tyres were great - the tread continues down the side walls more than normal tyres so they have great grip in deep stuff. I used them last winter with no issues on snow and ice.

Sorry should have said 17" alloys.

Only reason I am selling them as they don't fit my new Land Rover and I've sold my Freelander. I guess after a couple of winters the tyres could be changed to normal winter ones if the aggressive tread isn't your preference as the alloys are in good condition.

Below is a link to the tyres:

Thanks for that. Certainly I was looking for proper winters as I have wrangler M+S on at the moment so don't know how much difference there would be.

Still interested though - how far would you be willing to travel south to meet? FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I need to take a trip to Aberdeen next week, or the following week, and also back and forward to Glasgow a fair bit (as you know)

Can pick them up/drop off if needed Thumbs Up

Oh that would be useful Mikey. Need to discuss with wife tonight as we don't need them until we move in August and I don't have anywhere to store them just now. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Would be willing to meet in the middle, say Dundee but also happy to meet Mikey at a convenient place in Aberdeen.

I had the standard wrangle M+S on the freelander too and there is a notable increase in grip on winter roads with the AT/SA tyres, even with lower tread. Its really the alloys that are important for a spare set as the tyres will need replaced at some point.

I'm hoping to sell them soon to create some space if you could take them before August.

Let me know,
Thanks,
