Thumbs Up excellent thanks for that. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Stop global winging.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Thanks LR Nut, a nice vid. Its always been a great vehicle. Pity that the design team have been sipping too much ugly soup recently - the LR trademark bloated, fat lipped, bling encrusted front end does not work for me.
Its also a pity that the company does not now offer anything true to the original first generation Rangey ethos - utilitarian in nature, but far more capable and comfortable on or off road than pre-historic Defender type vehicles.
It will be interesting to see how the mark fares against Bentley, Porsche and so on - lots of competition in a market place which will not have room for everyone to play in.

Charles Spencer "Spen" King was the Father of the original Range Rover.
When I worked at Solihull, there was a large framed picture of him on the wall in the Engineering Block.
Range Rover was never meant to be a status symbol or a 'Chelsea tractor' as it became, much to the annoyance of Spen.
Unfortunately he passed away in 2010 shortly after the bicycle he was riding was in collision with a van.

He lived (and died) in the next village to mine, Cubbington. What a visionary he was....a big loss even 5 years on. Foraging near Gaydon....
