Totally possible - you need to cut live and pick up a permanent feed - shouldn't be hard as you're right beside rear fuse box. Find a permanent live fuse and piggy back it to your cut live on socket. remember to insulate the ignition live you cut! 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

I believe the older cars where a permanent live and the newer ones now are not and only remain operational for 5 minutes or so once the vehicle has been turned off. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Aye all the power sockets shut down now, which especially for a boot socket when you run things like fridges from is daft Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I really do wonder what the justification is when JLR decide to take these backward steps .... no doubt it's health & safety though. |

Nick, Only problem with the fridge scenario is if you leave it for too long and it flattens the battery. ![]() May be a good idea to fit a voltage drop device similar to your Backvue. Bill, I believe my Weaco Fridge has voltage monitor built in, but if not then LRA can sort the restart out whilst I drink my semi cold beers Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

There is a relatively easy to get at high current permanent supply at the back fuse box, I have used it on this and previous FL to power a ham radio set. Will post a picture when get a min..
