I didn't realise that on the earlier MY13 manual vehicles the rear park aid could be manually disabled via a dash button? On my one I have an extra large Eco button and they only disable once the electrics are plugged in. Does anyone know why LR decided to change this feature on MY14 > ...

I think it's only cars with front and rear sensors that have the switch.

I can confirm this - I've got front/rear sensors and dash switch.

On a side note - seems that someone in their infinite wisdom decided on my 2013 to change the speedo reading from both km/miles per hour to either or. Costing me a fortune to switch to miles to get DVLA approved and then back to km to shift the car to Greece for the year.

I have front & rear censors. There is a double width button just below bottom right of the CD slot.

Always turning off the censors, don't need them. Especially when backing out of the garage. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Mine - rear only - wont turn off. Pain in the *** with a bike rack on. Funny because my first D2 ES had rear only back then & had a disable switch. Progress eh  FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone.
