Blowout on the M5..

Love this car, 70mph and we get a bit of a loud noise, slight strange feeling in the steering wheel so I pull over and find this!

Hope you had a spare wheel. Can of sealant would have been a waste of time. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Nope, had to be recovered, LR assist, 1 3/4 hours on hard shoulder , loaded onto flatbed truck and taken home.
Time for a space saver and jack. Although as it was offside rear, I wouldn't have changed it anyway. Big Cry

No space saver on this car. The steel "spare" provided is full size with full size 17" tyre. Best to get yourself a proper alloy (keep a look out on here and on e-bay - they come up pretty regularly but prices vary). Any LR2 alloy will fit, but best to try to get a matching one. All sizes (16" to 20") fit into the spare wheel well, as the overall diameter is the same. NB though 16" wheels do not fit some cars. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
