They say they are for the Freelander 2, i've contacted the supplier asking if they have pictures of the lights fitted to an actual vehicle.

The shape of the housing looks the same as the FL2 light...

Ok, Cool! I've seen them B4 and even in the Uk but they were for RRS. I think they also do a smoked version

No! But my experience of that website has all been excellent!
See if they will put the OE and theirs side by side. They're usually pretty accommodating especially if means a sale.
You can always return as they don't get paid unless the product is as they claim and you are happy on receipt!

So far i'm not impressed with what they are saying...

On Alibaba they list one pair as $325 plus $60 shipping
Then they list $70-$110 minimum order 10 pairs

After talking with her it's $325 for one pair plus $80 shipping
The $70-$110 is "material cost" and for 10 pairs it's actually $315/pair , plus shipping

When I ask for pictures installed on a car "we sale many that lamp, but dont hv that picture"
And I can't find any pictures online from people who've fitted them, so i'm doubtful they've sold many at all...

I ask for a special price as sample for testing/inspection, taking pictures, no sorry that's the price "we sent you picture with them lighting on"

I bought a replacement head unit for my old Vauxhall Antara with build in sat nav and lots of other goodies that matched the standard Vauxhall dash from a Chinese ebay seller with a good feedback etc etc.

it turned up and the display was very poor quality graphics, the radio wasnt even RDS, and the radio reception was appalling, I had to buy an in line amp for the aerial feed and even that didnt fix the problem.

They refused to refund/replace unless i returned the unit at my own cost, and then a letter dropped through the door billing me for £70 import tax from TNT Parcels who had couriered it within UK.

After than I wouldnt buy anything direct from a Chinese supplier, at least with a UK based seller you have some buyer protection.

looking at the light it does appear to be the FL2 shape. the top left has a 45 deg angle. The RRS is more or less straight at that specific point.

My mate got a set of LED lights for a 2006 STI from china. Within a month the have 500ml of water in them

Someone needs to risk it and bite the bullet, and buy some and test them for us, then if they work we can all go and get some.
Mind you if the are made in China they are probably better than your usual Blitish rubbish.

Has anyone fitted these LED lights yet? I'm quite tempted to buy some. Powerful UK have some for sale at quite a reasonable cost..

Those look identical to those in the OP posting, if PowerfulUK are pedalling them, then at least you have a warranty in place that will hold water, much like the lamps if Nut is correct
