I know they have the crowd control vans, with telescopic camera poles on, for places like football matches, protest marches etc so i guess it was only a matter of time before they put an ANPR/Speed camera on top of one.

If it belongs to the local Plod that is OK but if belongs to the Local Government and is checking on parking restrictions it is now illegal as the law was changed approx. 12 months ago. They use this type of thing at Luton Airport, telescopic camera extending out of the top of a Smart Car, it sits on the roundabout to observe anyone getting out or in a vehicle on the roundabout instead of going in to the Car Park which is £2.50 for 15 Mins, or £5 for 20 Mins, even though traffic is often stationary on the roundabout as the Car Park gets busy you cannot get into it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
