Could do what? FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

I had a clutch issue that if I rested my foot slightly on the clutch pedal the car would shudder as it accelerated I was told on the forum not to leave my foot on the pedal but release it as soon as I changed up a gear. Probably nothing to do with your problem but I just thought I would stick my two peneth in. Freelander 2 TD4 GS 2011 Manual Satorini Black (Current)
Freelander TD4 S 2004 Silver Manual (Gone)
Landrover Series 3 Manual Long Wheel Base Safari (Gone)
Landrover series 2A Manual Short Wheel Base (Gone)
Numerous different vehicles inbetween

If nothing else it would accelerate wear on the release mechanism. Touch the clutch as little as possible! Wink

Was out in the car yesterday and noticed that the little jolt is most pronounced if I am changing from 1st to 2nd while turning - I only do this when coming onto a roundabout and generally only the small tight ones which still require a bit of speed. When 2nd is engaged feels like someone gives it a wee push and kick from the back. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

My 57 reg car is exactly the same , as if clutch has two bite points as op has said, had it nearly two years now and find I have to really concentrate hard to get smooth downshifts particularly 3rd to 2nd
