I suspect that that is the owner who recently bought my Disco Sport tailgate badge off me on evilbay. I shipped it to Leicestershire; where did you take the picture? Foraging near Gaydon....

This was taken in Bicester. Looked like an unofficial badge to me. |

I can't see from your picture, but my one was a genuine LR part, albeit for a different model.

Freelander 2 Sport was a limited edition of 500 vehicles sold in 2011. |

As far as I'm aware no UK sports were badged! The dynamic was badged up but it was market specfic. After taking delivery of my new dynamic the local pub owner seen mine and purchased one in black! I sold him the genuine dynamic black badge for £60

Ive seen a couple with exactly the same style sport badge on, all were pre facelift and didnt appear to have much of a body kit on compared to the later LE Sport and Dynamic kits.

Australia, Yes, badged Sport, and head restraints had sport embossed into them. Only very few made it here. Early facelift only with earlier dash.

The Freelander 2 Sport did not deserve to be badged as a sport or called a sport in my opinon
