First LR Assistance call today

Well first with this car anyway Laughing

Driving on motorway and sudden drop of power and reduced power message

Kept at motorspeed and could hear a blowing sound when I pulled off at my exit a mile down road

Didn't know if it was a sound of the Reduced performance or the problem

But the LR guy spores the Turbo Intercooler pipe had slipped off, said it's quite common and thinks it's due to LR not talking to them or something on production line Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I did not know you had to talk to the pipe when you fit it? Mr. Green

Mine was serviced by LR Stratstone at the beginning of December at 53400 miles, and just been MOT/Serviced by my indy at 66300 miles - 13k in 7 months has even shocked me as I just get in and drive it.

Good news is that after having my Grabber AT fitted at 55000 mules in January they are still at 9mm, so on that basis I have about another 80k before they become illegal Laughing

About having a decent set of standard size tyres fitted to standard wheels on a 'standard' car.?? Thud

They wouldn't stand the abuse I'd give them if they complained about that Rolling with laughter

This insurance mileage thing confuses me. How can I possibly predict my annual mileage accurately? OK I usually do 10-12000, but a couple of trips to Germany or Italy (or even Scotland!) can push that up to 15000. I can't see any way I can predict that. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
