Anyone interested in meeting up at a pub on the A580 East Lanc's road approximately 10 miles out of Liverpool nr. St. Helens. Maybe a Sunday afternoon at the "Game Bird". East Lancashire Road, Eccleston St Helens WA10 5QN 01744 885437.
Kids play area and food served, bring the family.
If enough interest I will call in and see if it is OK with them and what time would be best, I will then set a date & time.
No point in ten of us turning up with families at the busiest time of day.
I will not book anything so if you want food you will need to book it yourself.
I have no connection with the place and I have only had a meal 3 or 4 times.
Looking at the membership map we might get a few members interested from a 10/20 mile radius.

Well almost a month has gone by and no one has shown any interest in meeting up with other members near St. Helens. I would have thought some of you might suggest another venue or day if you you did not like the one's I suggested. I only picked that venue because of the large car park.

Oh well never mind.

I did enjoy a trip to Holland in the Freelander in May.

Hi Chalkey, two others live in St. Helens and one in Rainford, about 3 miles from me. 15 around the Northwest in all but no suggestions of another meeting place as yet.

I will be away in Norway next week without the Freelander, lets see if any others get in touch while I am away.
