Could be clutch slip, the mileage is right, mine went along with the flywheel at 50000 miles.

Depends when it actually judders though, when accelerating and in high gear clutch right out might be slip, judder whilst accelerating from standing start as clutch takes up drive might be oil on the clutch lining.
Or it might just be a worn or say an oil contaminated engine mounting/rubber bush?

You could well be right. it did feel as though it wasn't picking up when I was accelerating . I bet this isn't covered under the warranty fine print LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2 TD4e GS

Just took it up the bypass feels lime clutch slip and judder under hard acceleration. Anyone know how much a new clutch is fitted as I'm sure that the warranty won't cover that LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2 TD4e GS

Is it not slipping in any gears then I'll say its the flywheel. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

They did mine under warranty as they said it was a fault and not due to wear caused by the driving, mine was around £1200 or would have been they said. New clutch assembly, slave cylinder and flywheel.

Im very careful with my clutches, I dont off road and until I had the FL2 Ive never had a clutch go, knocking up 120000 miles + and still going ok on all my other cars when sold on.

This is along shot but I've read on this furum sometime back. So you'll have to do a search for it saying that other owners with same problem have put it 4th or 5th gear from stand still to make it slip to burn off oil/contamination from the clutch and some cases it's fixed the issue. But do a search first. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

My clutch is slipping at around 1800 revs in the higher gears, also slight judder at around 1800 revs also. When I had it serviced recently I asked the mechanic about it who said after a test drive that my clutch is just starting to go. My car is a 2010 plate with 50000 miles on the clock. I'm going to let it get worse before I have it done. I've read a thread on here somewhere that someone had a judder thinking it was the clutch and it turned out to be a drive shaft.

Indy has quoted me £1000 for clutch and flywheel. Advanced factors (site sponsors) can supply a clutch and flywheel about a couple of hundred quid cheaper than my indy can get it for. The indy I use is more than happy for me to supply the parts so I can get the price down to about 800 quid. I think there was another thread recently that said a dealer charged £1200 to change a clutch and flywheel. I reckon its just a case of looking around and seeing what prices you can get. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Remember to change slave cylinder as well. There are lots of older threads on this. Some suggest it is caused by an adjuster mechanism getting jammed up. A lot of people seem to have managed to get it done under warranty. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

mines in for DMF to be checked today, no clutch slip in any gear but vibrations at idle and under load.

LR quoted £1300 all in
From what ive seen independants are around £700-£800 ball park.

If it needs doing then its the flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder and a load of bolts that need replacing.
