Could be clutch slip, the mileage is right, mine went along with the flywheel at 50000 miles.

Just took it up the bypass feels lime clutch slip and judder under hard acceleration. Anyone know how much a new clutch is fitted as I'm sure that the warranty won't cover that LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2 TD4e GS

They did mine under warranty as they said it was a fault and not due to wear caused by the driving, mine was around £1200 or would have been they said. New clutch assembly, slave cylinder and flywheel.

This is along shot but I've read on this furum sometime back. So you'll have to do a search for it saying that other owners with same problem have put it 4th or 5th gear from stand still to make it slip to burn off oil/contamination from the clutch and some cases it's fixed the issue. But do a search first. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

My clutch is slipping at around 1800 revs in the higher gears, also slight judder at around 1800 revs also. When I had it serviced recently I asked the mechanic about it who said after a test drive that my clutch is just starting to go. My car is a 2010 plate with 50000 miles on the clock. I'm going to let it get worse before I have it done. I've read a thread on here somewhere that someone had a judder thinking it was the clutch and it turned out to be a drive shaft.

Remember to change slave cylinder as well. There are lots of older threads on this. Some suggest it is caused by an adjuster mechanism getting jammed up. A lot of people seem to have managed to get it done under warranty. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

mines in for DMF to be checked today, no clutch slip in any gear but vibrations at idle and under load.
