Drivers door unlock sensor problem

Hi,

The drivers door has developed a problem, when I get out it doesn't unlock all the other doors any more.

I guess some problem with a sensor not detecting the door has been opened.

The door locks / unlocks without a problem, but I have to use the dashboard unlock button to unlock all the doors if I want to get out take something out the boot for example.

Does anyone have any advise on accessing the door electronics and sensor?

Cheers,
Adam

Try this,

Single point entry
This is a security feature that unlocks only the driver’s door, fuel filler flap, and tailgate. It can be disabled on individual remote controls by unlocking the vehicle then simultaneously pressing and holding the lock and unlock buttons for three seconds. The vehicle will lock and then unlock in the currently selected mode and the hazard warning lights will flash twice to confirm the change.
You can now unlock all doors with a single press. Repeating the procedure will re-enable Single point entry.

Is seems to be a bit intermittent. But I definitely think its a sensor problem.

I've also noticed that the drivers door fails to auto-lock whilst I'm driving, although all the other doors are working as they are supposed to

I've tried the single point entry method, (I had already done this a while ago) no difference.

The model is a FL2 GS TD4 2007

I would suspect its the "door module" as this would detect you opening the drivers door!
Schematic is for MY15 but i think its similar.
Probably needs either dealer to "interrogate" module and if no errors found probably replace.
