sounds like both test drives went well Thumbs Up

I had a easy choice to make the Auto was realised when i bought mind Evil or Very Mad

How serious a off roader will you be? as the manual i have is great, but the auto would be better as the clutch wouldn't get hammered and is easier on hill starts ect

As for busy roads queuing a auto would win hands down for me, but switching the car in to grass and gravel make the car a little less twitchy in traffic on the manual as it waters down the the accelerator

Though the chose is a tough one, only you can decide, but remember the Auto also has comand shift with lets you have more control, and is very usefull when offroad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

the auto box, has the obvious P, R, N D on the right

In D, slide the leaver over to the left, gives Sports Mode, push leave forward/backwards for manual gear changes tiptronic style Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
