2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Rimini Red

No 'Key inserted' message displayed on start up

Having a problem with my Freelander 2. When i insert the key I get no 'key inserted message' on the fdash. The car starts fine and everything else seems OK at present

Hi and welcome you will get much better advice than mine on here but you could try disconnecting the battery for a bit and holding the two battery leads together for a few seconds. Reset windows afterwards.
