Freelander parking

I went to the garden centre over the weekend and they had very kindly provided a Freelander parking area.

I prefer the one on the left Thumbs Up Liking the facelift, presumably you had to spray the bumper, it didn't come like that?

I was kind of forced to do the facelift as I made a slight mess of the original bumper. I found the bumper on the bay of fleas for £95 and had it painted and fitted (with the grill surround painted silver) for £200. I think the facelift really suits the colour but then I am slightly bias.

Anyone remember the Top Gear where they suggested everyone who drove the FL2/Sportage/Honda etc type of car did 3 things - go to the garden centre, go to the tip and tow a caravan? I laugh every time I go to B&Q and then the tip in mine Smile FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

The one (only) thing I miss about the FL1 is the rear window dropping facility. You could put much longer lengths of wood in an FL1 ! Smile 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Just leave the tailgate open, using a rope or bungees to hold it down where you want it. Done it many times for wood, doors, plasterboard, flooring, all kinds of things!

On a cold day in winter the boot was nightmare as you were not allowed to use it! Was a handy feature in summer however Laughing MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Don't know why LR never put a hatch I the middle of the rear seats on the FL2 (just like they do on most hatchback cars), that would allow these long items to be carried easier. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

And as per Jeremy Clarkson demonstrated on the show, I assume you then took it all to the tip? Smile FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
