Definitely looks better lower, but as others say the top is a bit top heavy. If perhaps the head was a bit shallower and not standing away so much from the screen it might look better. Perhaps more over on the windscreen rather than off the side too?

If I had used 2.5 inch pipe I could have kept the pipe flush to the screen
In 76mm the air intake would let in rain when parked, aiming up to much
But over all I'am pleased

Good work there butt, you've been busy.

Look forward to the solutions for sealing the rest. And as previously asked - how are you testing? Pressurised air and some snoop? or a dunk test??

I have replaced the original ducting behind the wing
I used 76mm flexable silicone hose,ovalled
Air box modified to take pipe so I'am confident it will be very Walter tight

I fitted the last pipe Friday
Sounds great when towing discos out the mud ha ha

Looks pretty good but I agree the top doesn't look quite right.

How about taking the pipe through 90 degrees to over the top of the screen, then you could block off the end and open up the side of the pipe to make a say 70mm x 100mm flap, that way the head would still give you the ram effect.  MY2014 SD4 XS

With my snorkel I have a 160 degree bend at the top
With a south down top I could use a straight pipe
So would look closer to the screen
But saying that I'am very happy with mk1 so if I make mk2 I will keep what I have 👍
