Landorver assist en route eta 50 minutes

Having experienced a few odd throttle responses of late (when moving there has been no response unless pressed very hard), and a couple on instances of stuttering and almost stalling
I caller LRA. they have quoted me a very respectable 50 minutes before they arrive.

good job its still under warranty - for the next 3 months

Still thinking of the dark side and getting an X3, I dont like the evoque, the DS is overpriced and I want a newer engine ( the FL2 enginee is fine but getting old in the tooth now, especially when compared to the competition), and the D4 is soooo tempting but running costs are excessive, though the later engine has lower emissions and better fuel consumption

oh dear.
no fault codes at all.
So a dealer visit is sorted for tomorrow, as is a loan car.

My money is on a throttle body or fuel filter - seems very common on these things. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Is this similar to the problem discussed in 'customer relations'?

Sounds just like my experiences with the hesitation problems. No fault found, recalibrated air mappng etc. Problem only went away when the fuel filter was changed. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

I suspected the fuel filter, however t was changed very recently, also the dealer advised ( as did LRA) that if it was blocked there would be a fault code for fuel low pressure.

It does appear to be driving better now, a little smoother on pull away, and much better when reversing very slowly up a very steep hill, before it was a bit jolty.

time will tell.

Warranty expires soon....
Still its been a reliable FL2

Not sure I believe this fully but a dealer old me that some fault codes are deleted if the fault goes away. Two of our cars went into "reduced engine performance" mode and the engine management light came on but after stopping and restarting everything was OK but no fault codes were logged. As an IT guy I find this hard to believe that you would not log every event. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
