Just wash it with the shampoo provided don't use things like fairy liquid as that will strip it off and so will the chemicals sprayed on the cars just before the kosovan hand car wash places wash it down their dirty sponges Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I got the nice red bag of goodies and the lifeshine treatment. I have never used it on my car though as it gets washed at the dealers every month when it breaks. I use most of the products on my caravan.

npinks and wurzel153, thanks for your useful comments, though wurzel - are you saying your freelander needs to go in for repair every month? Yikes, what have I bought? |

Hi ayjayh. Please ignore my negativity, it's actually more than once a month but i am just having a bad car year. My wife has named 2014 as year of the Land Rover. I know of many fl2 owners who have had no problems at all, even some with over 100,000miles so you have bought a good car. |

So IF you had life shine allowing the dealers to 'wash' your car will have took it off and damaged the paint work no doubt... You will know by seeing swirls / hologrames in bright sunlight. Lifeshine is worth doing but TBH as you can get the kit your self off the net for £15 your better off doing it your self. That said - having followed your story its probably the least of your worries. not seen any swirls. I'm not one of these obsessive detailers so I could happily live with swirls and no other faults. |

Freelanders are GREAT (I,m on my second ) BUT they like to return to the "NEST" as they get homesick from time to time (like kids..!) But they do manage to stay away from the dealers BUT kids are like Homeing pigions you never get rid of them (you can always sell a freelander) but the law takes a dim view about selling kids (don,t know why ...) Wales Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper. (And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! ) Sd4 and chrome Ar*e piece, Auto box for best fun 09 Xs Gone 12 xs Gone HSE with Leather seats and 4 years warrenty.. staying for now ! |
