You could always buy a new one, remove the battery and charger for CG's one and sell your one on....

the strimmer is available new with no battery so selling it on with no battery isnt as crazy as it sounds.


I using the li-on battery with a mini angle grinder, the nicads or nmh cheapo batterys it came with just arnt good enough also the loose charge overnight which is frustrating At work

Quality! Brand new in box, but won't work as has no battery. To buy battery is more costly than buying a whole new strimmer (which is why CG bought it this way to get the battery)

As I often struggle to tell if a post is all banter or not, I'm not sure if this one needs a response, but I will post it anyway

The Ryobi stuff is designed to all work with the same battery and charger so you can have 10 tools and use the same battery and charger for all of them, cutting down on price. So you can buy them with or without the power bits, so CG isn't that mad after all. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
