Looking good Rob! You should do a comparison and get a shot of the car before it went in to the bodyshop! Definitively shredded a few years of the car with the coding |

Didn't want to go too far from factory but it looks a lot fresher IMO ☺

Cheers Eddie. Didn't want to stray too far from factory but wanted a couple of personal touches such as the black grill, boot handle and D pillars (idea pinched from LRNut) |

I still haven't made up my mind whether or not to colour-code, but I'm really impressed with the look of your's.The tailgate handle looks so much better painted, which I definitely will do to mine, once funds allow.I'm just dithering over the lower body and the rear quarter.I also don't want to detract too far from original, but also want to put my own stamp on the car. |

For me, its about making subtle changes that people in the know will recognise but to the general non FL2 public it just looks a normal car.

Just got a quote from a bodyshop with regard to colour-coding mirrors, lower body, tailgate handle and roof spoiler at around £500. I think that the quote sounds reasonable.I haven't decided on the "D" pillars, but I do like them on yours.

Mine cost me £450 for D pillars, boot handle, front/rear vallances, lower door trims and front grill (plastidip). That includes stripping the bumpers and trims off, priming, filling, sanding, painting and refitting

The lower edges of mine are rubber too,so won't be painted.Did you paint all the lower side trim, or just the doors? |

Then you will have; A pillar - Body colour B pillar - satin black finish C pillar - wrapped D pillar - texured grey/black Best way IMAO is to have all 4 pillars painted black ![]() MY15 Xenon Headlight Conversion MY17 RRS SVR - Estoril Blue Cirrus/Ebony 🪣💺’s Last edited by LR NUT on 23rd Apr 2015 12:27 pm. @ Eddiekol - the lower trim on the doors pop off so all the black plastic was painted with just the bottom inch or so of rubber left black. You cant notice this really unless you look closely.
