Wrong - several forum members have this arrangement (including myself) and it has been discussed several times on Freel2. In fact just recently some good photographs were posted illustrating how the carrier can be tilted with bikes in place to allow assess to the boot 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. I have a Whitter detachable tow ball and I purchased a Thule bike rack that hooks on the ball. It hold four bikes well and it can be lowered to gain access to the back. I'm very pleased with it and bought from www.towequipe.co.uk for £65. |

Did you go for the swan neck detachable with the Thule bike rack in the end? Does it work okay? |
