Bill Turner has kindly offered his services on Friday, both Bill and I will be at the Speke Hall car park from around 10am.
We have a couple of camping stoves so a cup of tea/coffee will be on hand along with some chocolate hob nobs

You should all have had an email from Roz and a PM from me, if you have any problems on the day just let me know.
We will be splitting into two groups on Friday, we will do this on the day as when you meet you may prefer to stick with someone you meet up with on Friday.

Fantastic day out with a really good group of people, tour was excellent and was much improved over previous years, with the addition of raised viewing gantries and explanation boards, I would certainly recommend the day.
Food was very good and plentiful and a huge Thank You to Roz and the team at HALEWOOD for making us welcome.

Discovery Sport, very capable and very good, certainly on my radar now although the question of adjustable seat belts goes unanswered as the HALEWOOD staff hadn't realised they weren't

Took a few pics but concentrated on enjoying the day for once, although here is a picture that will stir some emotions.

Many thanks for organising Taz and also to Bill for brining more catering capacity to the 'cuppa and chat' at Speke Hall before going to Halewood in convoy - great day and I agree with your praise for the tour. John seemed surprised at how few questions we asked but that was because he did a great job telling us nearly everything!

M and I are off to Ripon Land Rover tomorrow for a pre-arranged test drive in their manual demonstrator and to grill them about timing of Ingenium engines and Active Drive and specs/prices before we order - just the matter of colours too! (it won't be the all conquering Corris Grey methinks!)

What a great day out.Thanks to Taz and Roz for the organisation that was First Class.
It was good to see how capable the Discovery Sport and Evoke were.
The factory tour was very well organised and Lisa never stopped giving us information
on what each area was doing. At the end they gave us feedback cards on what they could
do to improve the day but I could not think of anything to add.

Also thanks to a wonderful group of forum members who made the day so enjoyable.

Thank you Paul (Taz) for organising a great day out & chance to meet others on the forum. Paul & I had a great time - interesting riding in the DS & Ewok, very nice & capable but not for me - at the very least until they fit that spare wheel in UK models! Manufacturing process amazingly automated & remarkable how they have turned round the workforce. Good work!
