If its any help, I bought one from Taggarts just of Maryhill Rd last June. Had plenty of problems but the dealer themselves were good and in hindsight I don't think they could have pre-empted the issues. Good price too. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I notice that AC has a number of S models for sale, some of these may be ex AC leasing and not LR dealer serviced, but with the choices about an S model is not the most desirable. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

The S is also short of things like Terrain Response and Cruise Control. If these aren't important to you then it's fine. I nearly bought one once but decided that although it was auto it had no cruise control, which I did want. For the same price I got a GS manual, in better condition. Wheels not really a problem - plenty of sets of wheels for sale, usually at reasonable prices, and all sizes (17-20") fit. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
