Help please - I have 11,000 miles on the clock and for the first time today, I have heard a creaking noise from the rear of my FL2 when under breaking.
It happens when I am almost stopped (1-3mph) with my foot on the peddle, or coming to a gentle slow down and it's as though the suspension is "settling" as the car comes to a rest. During intermittent breaking at speed, there is no noticable noise at all.
The first service is coming up in October but I would rather get it looked at before then if anyone thinks this could be serious - Any thoughts guys? FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

Does it sound like a 'twang'? If it is I have had this for the past 3.5 months (only had if for 4!!), Three trips to the dealer and they are all deaf (well the noise seems to stop when they test it - so they tell me) Im taking it in again for the drivers seat movement to be looked at so maybe fourth time lucky? Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

I was on my way to the steelers this morning and I cannot get it to creak again

It was more a creaking than a twang - Mrs DD said it was probably my bones making the noise as she won't have a word said against her baby!!!

After reading about the brake dust build up on another post, I am going to have the wheels off tomorrow just to be sure. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini
