Over the winter I have noticed that the rear view camera quickly gets covered in road salt and dirt in general, it has happened again over the last few days, with temperatures dropping and the grit lorries coming back out. After a short drive, when you come to reverse the screen view is almost unviewable and renders the camera useless.

Well done taz . I watched a couple of YouTube vids of the ford 4x4 in the USA which have this on both front and back cameras. Another way to clean the rear camera is to give the wife a cloth and tell her to get out and clean it Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

I can only reiterate what the guys have already said, top marks for ingenuity and pulling this off! I can honestly see LR rolling it out (possibly as an expensive option of course!) on their cars in the future. Hat's off to you! Paula |
