Thank you for the input but genuinely I do not believe this to be a contact issue. This sounds like someone turns the volume knob a few notches, one at a time, not a drop out or loss of one side for example. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

When you say "fitted" is that in place of the stock head unit? I have considered replacing my head unit but buying all the extra bits to keep parking sensors etc working makes it very costly.

no, the existing head unit is still in place and working exactly as LR intended(parking sensors etc etc.)

the parrot module is fitted in line from the wiring loom via a dedicated additional wiring harness and mutes the stereo on incoming/outgoing calls.
It has a seperate wired screen and a wireless controller. The parrot has its own amp so effectively isolates the head unit when its in use (including reversing beeps). Sound quality is quite reasonable.

Mine is a Parrot CK9200i and was fitted by Hellfrauds for £170 including the additional harness with was £10.

It is a fairly easy self fit, if your comfortable jumpering a live onto the fuse box in the passenger footwell and removing trim panels yourself.

theres a picture in my gallery of the wired screen, fits on the blanking panel on the right hand side of the head unit. Ive attached the remote controller with a sticky pad on the inside edge of the steering wheel next to the existing stereo controls so I dont need to move my hands when driving.

Turns out the battery isn't holding charge which could explain why at loud volumes and energetic tracks the volume dips as if the amp isn't getting enough power... FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
