Two rear doors, two different problems..

Hi all,

My right side rear door will open if I click twice on the key fob, but will not lock unless I do it manually..

My left side rear door won't unlock or lock with the fob, and only works manually.

The did not go wrong at the same time, so I presume they are unrelated,

Any suggestions. Hoping its a quick fix I can do at home.

Sounds as though you need new door latches. My passenger rear was the same as your right rear, it would unlock but not lock with the fob. Latch replaced under warranty.

Have a search on here for door locks... It is a known problem with FL2.

Sorry to tell you this but both of your rear door locks have failed, I had to replace 3 of my door locks in the 12 months.
The locks can be fixed if you are technically minded there is a thread that explains how to do the repair. I was just lazy and paid £87 each for the new locks.
Last week my other half got stuck in the front passenger side as cable that controls the locking tab and handle had come off. I removed the door card sprayed the cable with wd40 then clipped it back in place but it came off again when I pulled the handle as the clip seamed to pull forward when you pulled the handle resulting in it unclipping so I used a large sticky pad to restrict the movement this worked for me.

Here is the part numbers price has gone up since I bought mine.

Right Hand rear (LR011302) £90.27 plus vat
Left Hand rear (LR011303) £90.27 plus vat
