Alan I would be tempted to tell UltraLeds that you are a memebr of car forums and that you know many members purcahse from them and that you would hate to have to detail your feelings on the product and give them a bad rep.

I have had probs with Ultraleds recently, well the customer service anyway. I've bought several bulbs over time and in one order I purchased 5 x a particular bulb. When they arrived only two were in the packet. UL's said they would investigare if I sent back the unopened packet, which was too late as I had already opened them. They relunctantly sent the missing 3 bulbs a week later but said they had "marked my account to say no future claims would be allowed if I opend the packet!" This made me feel like a right criminal and I will not be dealing with them again. Shame because delivery is usually very quick. I think having spent £30k on a FL2 I would not waste my time trying to nick 3 bulbs worth £6 of UL's!! |

I e mailed Ultra LED's a couple of weks ago and never got a reply. I ended up buying my LED from e bay for £1.99, it was faulty on arrival so I emailed the dealer. He replied very quickly requesting I send him a photo of the faulty LED's. I received a replacement within a couple of days. |

CG, how could you imply such wrong doing from a Corporate Banker like me.........ahhh yes I see your point for the record, officer, i now have my 5 requested bulbs. My neighbour blew his fuse whilst installing the LED's. Trick is to switch the switch fully to the left so now power is going through them before trying to insert it in the hole |

I need to find a reputable supplier of white LED bulbs with a sensible guarantee; if the module with LED's was built properly they should last longer than the FL2.

I have to say many of the LED products for cars are being manufactured in China and unfortunately the quality is not always there.
