Got my gvif today and was quite excited to install as ive had the cable from GSMserver for days as reccommended on this forum.

On opening the gvif box first thing i see is a cable exactly the same as one gsm sent, instantly i thought great either gsm screwed up and ive lost £35 or they are included now and ive lost £35. So i checked it out and sure enough it does not fit the freelander 2. As a few people on here confirmed cable is correct i can only assume gsm have changed the product in the link.

Now ordered correct cable from hid4u. Install pushed back till Sunday (more annoyed about this than the money tbh) and gsm wont refund so in a paypal dispute with them as their webpage only states land rover compatible which as far as i see it should cover freelander2.

Dont get caught out like i have people.
