Dealers deactivated the seat belt chime

Go my car back from it's first service and the dealer has deactived the seat belt chime. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's not really a big issue and it took me 10 seconds to deactivate it again.

My main concern now is that once the xenon lights are activated that dealers may revert then back to normal once they plug the car in Whistle MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I don't think it will have been done on purpose, possibly a software update that has reset things?

My speedo unit was replaced as the car from new had light scratches on the actual display. The new odometer was the set to match the mileage on the car. There was no mention on a software update on the service schedule sheet. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I wonder if the battery was disconnected and that causes it to reset?

The new spoiler must be getting near now Whistle

It isn't necessary to connect the diagnostic equipment in order to match the mileage.
The real mileage will appear automatically on the new cluster. It's a kind of magic... Laughing Laughing

That's what the dealer told me Rolling Eyes they also drove it 5 miles as I noted the mileage when I dropped her off. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I would assume what has happened is that rather than copy the CCF from your vehicle and then flashed it to the new instrument cluster, they have used their as built file without checking for differences. Bad practice really. Rolling Eyes Freelander 2 2007 TD4 Manual HSE Tambora Flame
