Any idea's?

Hi All,
noticed today, my electric lumbar support device on my MY15 metropolis was inflating itself as I drove along!
pushed the button, pumped it up fully then pressed the other button to release all the air it then strted to slowly inflate again!
has this happened to anyone else, if so what is needed to stop it from doing this?
Can't drive along with one hand on the seat button all day
Thanks Mad Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Can you hear the pump actually running all the time, if so I would suggest the switch internals may be sticking, should be able to disconnect plug on back of switch to isolate and confirm problem. If the pump does not run I hav'nt a clue FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

HI Can deffo hear the pump whilst I am activating the button to inflate but no sound when no button pressed and is inflating itself, have even done the memory thing with settings to hopefully "memorise" the setting, but to no avail, will try deflating and then unplug switch-I presume at back of buttons?
Thanks Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Don't think memory will affect lumbar at all, just position and mirrors. This sounds very weird if it is inflating itself without the pump running. Could the pump be running very slowly and hence quietly, that would definitely point to the switch (high resistance but not breaking completely).

Good luck FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

My Memory on drivers seat inflates the lumbar each time I get in a start car
so I deflated it and reset memory

I stand corrected, I'll have a play tomorrow. Are you sure it is the lumbar and not the seat re-positioning itself (easy access ticked) FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

I can feel the lumbar pump up and hear it.
So I deflated it totally and saved setting
that stopped it

Ok! I had no idea lumbar pressure was part of the memory seat!
Are we sure about this?
I'm going to have to look again as I didn't think mine did!

Out of interest, I went and checked my "blow up doll". I can hear it inflate, but if I press the other side of the
switch, I can not hear anything. How does the deflation work? 2013 Dynamic Santorini black
