We had loads of snow this morning and a lot slipped off the roof onto the screen , got squashed by the wiper and they could not get to the bottom of the windscreen on each sweep. Now my wipers are parking really high on the screen ... Not as high as the winter position , about half way between .. Can they be re set or adjusted like when the electric windows go wrong???

May be that the spindle nuts were not too tight allowing the arm to move on the spindle when trying to squash the trapped snow beneath them. Try loosening the nuts and resetting the arms in the position you want before re-tightening them.
