England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Santorini Black

after plenty of searching, blackcircles came out cheapest for 4 Goodyear Wranglers for approx £160 per tyre. At the time, I had a Kwikfit voucher for 25% off so i specifically asked them what their standard internet price was which came out at approx £190, so I said at £142.50 per tyre with the "money off voucher" I'd be interested. Was then told that £190 was already with the 25% off. So I said that was ridiculous trying to say the standard price is normally actually £255+ per tyre.
black circles worked really well, easy to book.

have just received my Tesco £25 clubcard vouchers as blackcircles were doing 4x clubcard points at the time

having said that, always shop around

Last night ordered 3 new GY Wranglers for mine from Black Circles; arriving Monday. Really impressed that they phoned today to query an order for 3 to check I was not intending to mix on an axle. As I have an untouched spare, 3 more will give me new rubber all round and LR dealer will fit for about 15 quid a tyre as part of 48k service on Monday 2nd
Local independent (used before on family cars) had quoted 105 plus VAT each, Ripon LR quoted 120+VAT for GY Efficiency SUV and would go down to 110 against the Indy quote but could not supply Wrangler HP all weather to match spare. Hence the call to Black Circles whose price was 95 each tyre plus 11.50 shipping. I've got the tyres I need, saved nearly £50 and no extra trip to the tyre shop.
For those wondering, yes I'm still on the factory fit rubber after almost 48k (and brake pads) Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Indus Silver

I've just ordered 4 Pirelli scorpion all season Verde 235/55/r19 from tyre leader online at a cost of £444 delivered then had them fitted at my local garage for £50, when I was looking at online fitted prices the total price was around £640. So a nice £150 saving.

I have also in the past bought online from oponeo and lovetyres Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

National Tyres on line price for Goodyear Wrangler HP AW 235/65/17 in December was £113 per tyre fully fitted, currently it's about £120.
Cheapest I've found this week was Asda Tyres at £114 fully fitted by a local tyre fitting place.

Asda are offering the best price for the Michelin tyres I am looking for. Don't know about Wrnglers. Were best price last year as well even compared to Back Circles who I think offered next best price. Buy online, get fitted at a local fitter.

Personally I found my local much cheaper than anything online, fitted, and willing to get tyres in asap . General GTs too, so always worth seeing what they can do for you.

Scotland 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

I found a local indy a few years ago, when I was about to purchase from Asda tyres, who were the cheapest by a margin. They came up as the closest/most convenient fitter so I asked in work if anyone had used them and apparently I was the only one that didn't use them at the time.

Gave them a call and they couldn't match the Asda price (£5 a corner more) as they would have to order them in but did mention that they had the higher speed rating in stock and they could do them for the same price as Asda. Dropped the car off at lunch and picked up after work and got a pleasant surprise when I got the bill as it was £5 a corner cheaper due to where I worked. Very Happy

They have a web site that is competitive but is always that bit cheaper when you give them a call and they will price match. Very good service and always someone in early so you can drop your car/tyre off if you don't want to wait.

Always worth giving your local a call after you find the best price online. Thumbs Up

General Grabber ATs

I got a set of 4 of these balanced & fitted from Andy at AJS 4x4 for less that I could find anyone online, including Etyres, Mytyres and Tyresdirect...

Just goes to show our site sponsors can really help

Oh and btw they are great tyres too, esp if you do a bit of off-roading

I had Grabber AT's fitted all round in January. £112 a corner all in. Really good tyre so far, been down a couple of muddy rutted tracks and although nothing too adventurous they performed well.

MPG is no different either, getting 480+ miles to a tank of mixed driving.

Well, having now spent a weel looking at tyre prices for Cooper AT3 tyres Camskill are by far the chesapest. 235/65x17 for £83. They also do a 235/70x17 for £84. I looked at the companies mentioned on this thread including My Tyres who were next cheapest.

Now I can't decide bwteen the 65 or 70 profile

Cool I can 'third' Camskill, brillant tyres and prices, went looking a short while ago for two and ended up with a set of four from them, could not find cheaper.
