Clutches and warranty

I am half way through a 2 yr extended warranty and I suspect that may have a clutch problem. I know that the clutch is regarded as a "wear" item but has anyone any experience of getting one fixed under warranty? (it's done 50k miles and full LR service history.) According to Land Rover Extended Warranty booklet, under clutches, cover includes and I quote,

"Failure of clutch plate, clutch cover and release bearing only including failure due to oil contamination but excluding burnt out parts and general wear and tear. Limited to one clutch repair during the warranty period."

Note no mention of DMF, and of course the subjective part is "but excluding general wear and tear". On the other hand I have taken cars over 150,000 miles still on the original clutch when I have got rid of them and that included towing. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges
