Hi all,

As the topic subject reads really - I'm in the process of looking for new AT tyres and was trying to source some silver steel wheels, but all I can seem to find are black.

I am not afraid to have them shot blasted/painted but if anyone knew of some already silver that would be a great help.

Cheers for any help that you might be able to provide.

I think black steel wheels look good but I guess not to everyone's taste, I picked these wheels up from a 2010 Freelander for £25 each with different tyres to that in the picture (I scrapped the tyres that came with them)

@ WarriorBez, I know what you mean - but for work I have been told that silver is the way forward to keep all of our trucks 'uniformed'.

Mine is actually the only one with alloys, sadly they are not all round anymore. A few months of trucking a fuel bowser/tools/guys around some horrible tracks have resorted in some very nasty punctures and badly scratched and dented wheels

I'm sure I've seen some steel wheels for sale lately, might have been AJS Tyres but I can't see them on the website. Could be worth giving them a call.

Being a site sponsor they were my first port of call - all black, but they did say that they would be able to have them painted up though

You will have to forgive my ignorance when it comes to ford - did/do they do a 17" steel?

Those steel wheels from the Freelander are great. Have never seen such a thing here in the states!  Wait...you get 17in steel wheel options, diesel engines, manual transmissions, cloth seats, optional sunroofs and G4 kit!
