Totally agree. Plus, it isn't just the animal that shouldn't be trusted. Kids have to be taught how to treat animals and how to act around them.

Agreed. Any dog can react "badly" if provoked - the specific breed is largely irrelevant. The only concern is the size of the dog and the damage its going to do based on its size/power. I'd suggest anything over the size of a terrier and whoever is on the receiving end is going to have a disappointing day..... My opinion is that the dog is probably pretty stable, no more or less stable than any other dog/breed. I'd be more worried about, as previously suggested, the ridiculous things the kid could do that WOULD provoke it. |
