It's weird. It doesn't look nearly that bright in the flesh.. must be something to do with the paint and the camera or something. From the pics, I wouldn't have ordered that colour either but seeing it in reality is much nicer. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue.. |

I understand what you mean and i think its the other way round, the photos make it look really nice, but the one I saw in the bright lights of a dealers show room was just too blue Don't get me wrong, everybody has there own choice, I think it is the equivalent blue to what Tambora Flame is to orange, which is strange as i quite like TF, but would buy the colour as it isn't grey Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Nice car! Nice colour but a little too blue if you get my meaning. Had a estoril blue BMW previous which was stunning, a little lighter than the Freelander 2 blue. A relation has just had a new Nissan Squashcar (sorry i dont know how to spell it quaqui or quasqua - I AINT SPELL CHECKING IT!!!) in blue and that is simply sooooo blue it looks pants.

Sorry to disillusion you Frobius, but it is only the facings that are REAL leather as they on mine and everybody else's LR2 . The backs and sides are imitation (vinyl) or plastic if you like. When I found out that I nearly blew a fuse . If it had only been on the seat backs it wouldn’t have been so bad maybe . If I was buying again I would order cheap covers and have proper leather fitted aftermarket – cheaper than LR’s and much better choice of colours and you get the choice of FULL leather . 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Yeah I heard about the sides and back being vinyl. Not good. Mind you, I can't actually tell the difference on mine. The sides look the same as the bolsters.
