Drive & dine

Local dealer offering drive & dine with the new Sport, rude not to take them up on offer as the restaurant they sent you to has a very good reputation
Lunch on LR tomorrow Smile

So, this is what we got to test drive today in the drive & dine. DS HSE LUXURY with the black pack.

Have to say it looked nice and drove lovely, had a mixed drive of A roads and twisty country lanes. The 9 speed auto in Sport mode seemed lively enough. Not so sure about the black pack, liked the wheels but all inside was, black, including roof lining. Close the sunroof blind and it felt really dark inside. Few nice features, like the remote powered boot open & close and the seats were very comfy.

Restaurant we went to FABULOUS, food amazing thank you Land Rover.

On returning to the dealer asked a few questions and not sure I got the correct answers. Thet were saying the upcoming 2ltr engines gonna be way underpowered for the car but will be good for the company driver and tax. They weren't aware of any other smaller than Disco model that might come close to FL2......shame. So for the time being FL all the way
