I found the same, open the door, remove the lamp, fit the new one, nothing, close the door, open it again, all working fine. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I have tried and tried to get them working with LED, never tried opening/closing technique, I need some more LEDs now. |

Gents the opening and closing of the doors does not make a difference. What I am saying is that once you unlock the doors and wait approx 35 seconds and then open the door the lights will work. However if you unlock your car start straight away and then switch it off instantly and open the doors the puddle lights will work as there is still enough feed getting to the doors. Just say if this whole process took only 12 seconds the puddle lights will still work as the car has been started.

MY15 had same problem. used Osram LED's and had to use Canbus resistors on each puddle lamp due to Light Control Module thinking blown globe, ie reduced current and power.
