United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

My mate had similar, he hit the kid with his car, very minor injuries, and not the sort of guy to be flustered he dragged the kid home to his mum for punishment, not that I recommend a grown man dragging a boy anywhere, sadly that has too many conurtations.

but in that case I think he did the right thing At work

Stupid thing to do: glad common sense prevailed.

One thing though, the text says the truck was doing 45mph, which it comments is well below the 60mph limit......but it's a single carriageway road, doesn't that make the LGV limit 40mph? Technically, on the evidence of his own camera, the driver was speeding!

Edit: the video says 86km/h, which I make 54mph, not 45 anyway! 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

You expect the news reports to be correct Shocked
It says Truck, why I don't know but a few members on here say their Truck when they are talking about their Freelander 2.
Could have been a 7.5 ton which would be limited to 50mph on that road, so he was 4mph over. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

'40 tonne' from article, meaning limit is 40, so he's 14 (or 35%) over!
And, no, I don't expect accuracy from news reports. 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

As I said, do you expect to accuracy in the reports, I'm not convinced it's that big, it doesn't seem high enough to me. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
