Knock Knock, who's there? I hear you ask, my bloody Freelander 2 at the moment!!!

I now have another knock. When I reverse off my drive and onto the road i get a very dull knock noise - only one and I dont hear it again until the next day. There is a very slight incline to my drive so i reverse slightly uphill, slightly downhill off my cutaway and then onto a level road, its only when i go onto the road that i hear the noise, any ideas???? Like I say, its a very dull knock and from the drivers seat it sounds like its low down at the rear.

Im thinking of ringing up the Guinness Book of Records to see who holds the record for having the most knocks on a 4 month old vehicle - i might stand a chance at this rate! Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

The noise while reversing is something i get from time to time, try lowering all the windows if it's that noticable in the car and it's suspension then you should be able to here it from outside the car.

But to be honest all 4x4's i've had from fords to X5's all make creaking noises from time to time when doing slow parking type manoeuvres usually when reversing out of our garage.

if it's a load knocking then take it in could be a loose anti roll bar or similar
