I will be honest, at the moment it's difficult to tell although I would say the screen does seem quicker to clean. There will be a couple of tests that will show its worth. In winter when we get all that salt and corruption on the screen and in the summer with dead insects. We haven't even had a frost yet but that worked well on the FL1.

I'll just have to wait for some bad weather.

Mine worked well last year, mind it was quite a mild winter, I seldom had to use de icer and my jets worked from start up straight away, in past years they would sometimes freeze up. My dad was using the same screen wash as me and has a XS with heated jets, there were a few days where his didn't work so guess the heat shot did make a difference. Freelander 2, 2014 Dynamic SD4 Santorini Black

I got mine on ebay from the US at half the UK price. Maybe additional risk but it's worked out ok for me.

I certainly wouldn't spray my windscreen with warm/hot water in winter.

I also wash my car with cold water, ie as it comes out the tap.

In Sweden by the time it's left the nozzle you're lucky if it hits the windscreen as a liquid!!
